Maggie Malloy Omstrom MD Dr. Maggie
The Early Years
Dr. Maggie was born and raised in Sag Harbor, NY. She attended schools locally and came to Connecticut for boarding school, where she felt right at home being just across the Long Island Sound. She then went on to Vanderbilt University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude earning a B.A. with a double major in Economics and History, as well as a minor in Psychology. After two years on the Equity sales and trading floor at an investment firm, she decided to pursue her true calling of Medicine and completed her pre-requisite medical school courses at Columbia University in New York.
Medical Degree & Residency
She received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She completed her residency at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. She was awarded the Dr. Leonard Newman Teaching Award for her dedication to teaching medical students throughout her three years of residency.
Dr. Maggie is thrilled to be a part of Sound Beach Pediatrics. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and vaccines as well as a strong background in caring for critically sick children.
As a transplant from NYC, she feels so lucky to call Greenwich home. When not working, you can find her spending time with her husband, chasing after her two “older” young children, caring for her infant twins, or walking her yellow lab, Hank.
