Grace Sullivan MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
The Early Years
Grace Sullivan grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where she attended Longmeadow High School and was actively involved in the honors choir. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University before beginning her nursing career caring for patients on a dedicated COVID unit. She later transitioned into a float nurse role, where she gained experience caring for medically complex adult patients across a variety of hospital settings.
Pediatric Nursing Experience
Knowing early in her career that her passion was caring for children and families, Grace joined Greenwich Hospital/YNHH, where she has spent more than five years caring for mothers and newborns on the Postpartum and Nursery units, while also providing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Unit. Her extensive experience caring for newborns and supporting families during the earliest days of parenthood has fostered a special interest in newborn medicine and infant feeding.
At Sound Beach Pediatrics
In June 2022, Grace joined Sound Beach Pediatrics as a per diem Registered Nurse, quickly becoming a valued member of our clinical team. After earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is thrilled to continue her journey at Sound Beach Pediatrics as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Many of our families already know Grace from her years as a nurse in our office, making this a natural and exciting transition into her new provider role.
Special Interests
Building on her years of experience supporting breastfeeding families, Grace is currently pursuing formal certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) to further expand the comprehensive lactation support she provides to families.
Grace is dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families and is passionate about partnering with parents through every stage of their child’s growth and development. She strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while helping families feel confident, informed, and supported.
At Home & In The Community
Grace lives in Stamford, Connecticut, with her fiancé. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
