New Chapters ~ A Heartfelt Message from Dr. Jennifer

Dear Sound Beach Pediatrics Family,

I often think of life as a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book — I arrive at the end of a chapter and am prompted to select from various page options for the next part of my journey. Will I turn to page 18? 36? 54? Each choice leads down a different and unexpected path.

When I joined the Sound Beach Pediatrics team in October 2021, I was extraordinarily fortunate to begin an incredible chapter — one in which I have been privileged and honored to provide medical care for your children, build relationships with you and your families, and work alongside wonderful and dedicated colleagues.

It is bittersweet to share that this chapter is now coming to a close. I will be leaving Sound Beach Pediatrics at the end of March as I begin a new and exciting next chapter. I am thrilled to be joining my husband in Israel, where I plan to continue practicing pediatrics in Jerusalem.

I have learned throughout my “Choose Your Own Adventure” chapters that life is certainly not a straight line. After being widowed nearly fifteen years ago and raising four young children on my own, I never imagined I would be writing — or living — this chapter. And yet, almost two years ago, I was blessed to remarry, and now find myself turning the page once again, both personally and professionally.

Thank you for entrusting me with the care of your children. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your lives and the entire Sound Beach Pediatrics family.
