Meghan Warzoha APRN, CLC Nurse Practitioner
Certified Lactation Consultant

The Early Years

Meghan was born and raised in Waterbury, CT. She attended local schools and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University with a B.S. in psychobiology and minor in chemistry. Seeking to blend her love for science and health, Meghan furthered her studies at Dartmouth College. There, she earned her MPH while focusing her thesis work on maternal and child health outcomes. After graduation Meghan worked in the non-profit sector, coordinating a school-based primary prevention program. She also conducted academic medical research at Yale University.

Nursing School

Meghan earned a master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in pediatrics from Yale University, and is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She volunteered at the student-run Haven Free Clinic while completing her nursing degree, and worked as a pediatric nurse for a practice in New Haven, CT.

In Practice

Meghan is excited to be a part of the Sound Beach Pediatrics team, where she can provide care for children of all ages. She loves teaching, health education, and empowering patients and their families. She has a special interest in relating with “tweens and teens” and enjoys connecting with adolescents, providing guidance during these challenging years. Shortly after joining Sound Beach Pediatrics in 2018, she received her certification as a lactation consultant (CLC). She has been providing expert lactation support to mothers of newborn infants in our practice since then.

At Home

When she’s not at work you can find Meghan baking sweets, reading, spending time with her husband, or running after her one-year old son, Jack. Otherwise, she may be off to a Pilates or ballet barre class!
